SÆXIA represented the Saxon side of a Viking encampment for the Living History part of a large multi-period historical festival at the 4 Kingdoms Adventure park near Reading, featuring our have-a-go authentic Saxon axe throwing and demonstrations of timber splitting.

CHILTERN OPEN AIR MUSEUM
August 24th-26th
SÆXIA will join Swords of Penda and Wodens Hearth for another August Bank Holiday weekend at the fascinating and diverse Chiltern Open Air Museum, where one can experience everything from Iron Age Britons blowing their Carnyx, courtesy of Here be Flagons, to other historic buildings rescue and carefully reassembled on this site.
